Mezcal Naran is ideal for mixing and inventing cocktails. The quality of Naran depends both on the terroir or terruño (which literally means land), as well as the process and knowledge of the mezcalero master Jaime Luis García. NARAN is an organic product that is traditionally made by hand. The fermentation is 100% natural yeasts and the agaves are 100% organic. For every Espadín agave which is cut for the production of Naran 5 new agaves are planted.
What does Naran mean and what does it stand for ? NARAN means “lunar eclipse” in the Triqui language, one of the ethnic groups of Oaxaca that has its origins in the Chicahuaxtla culture. With this spirit we unite the earthly with the cosmic in a life balance to represent an environmentally conscious generation that knows that the change and development of the future depends on us.
